Hello everyone! It's Katherine and this might possibly be my last post as band president. So I just want to thank everyone. Band members, you know I love you. Thank you for a great trip. Thank you for all the love and support. And thank you for making it possible for us to take home the gold.

Although I may not be able to play for nationals (unless Womack lets me sneak in, haha), I wish you all the best of luck. I know you guys can do it.

As promised...

Here is a youtube performance of Joy Revisited. In my opinion, this performance has its ups and downs. I do think they have a great alto saxophone sound, though. Listen to it, and feel free to post a comment with your thoughts. :]


P.S. For anyone who's been with us through the years, check out kanzennanoguso. I think it is a pretty funny coincidence that they've done Novena, First Suite in Eb, and El Capitan! The performances are also good, too, (again IMO).

Fall Concert

Yay! Foshay band is having a free concert on Thursday the 9th of October. Be sure to come enjoy a night of music and don't forget to bring a friend.

Peace Day

With no transportation, peace day didn't start off so well for the band. But, in the end everything worked out and when we performed we rocked the stage.
